Call for Poster/Media Presentations - Update: Now Closed
MA CSE students: We welcome your input at this year’s conference. Individual students or pairs are encouraged to submit proposals for interactive poster/media presentations in which they can share examples of technology use for learning. You may choose to share information about a website, app, device, or other technology-based learning tool you have seen or used in a learning setting. You may present a poster, which will be displayed on the wall; you may present an app through having your iPad or tablet on hand to demonstrate, or you may also choose to bring a laptop to show a website. During a 20-minute session, student presenters will be asked to stand
by their poster/media while other students circulate, and ask questions about the presentations. All poster/media presenters are asked to prepare a digital ‘handout’ to accompany their presentation, which will be posted on the conference website.
Guidelines for Submitting a Poster/Media Proposal
All proposals will be reviewed and authors will be notified of the decision on their submission by February 8, 2016.
Please have the following information ready for your submission:
● Title of your presentation
● Desired presentation type (poster, media)
● 100-200 word Proposal Description (Please describe how you have seen or used this technology in a learning context, and why this presentation would be valuable to your fellow students)
